April 2009; The road to recovery: How can local authorities respond in a time of recession?

The second Great Brief focuses upon identifying the challenges local authorities and local economies are facing in a period of economic recession. It also seeks to draw together approaches and examples local authorities across the United Kingdom are utilising to respond to the recession, and assess how these apply to the Yorkshire and Humber region.
