Bringing these agendas together to stimulate a ‘green new deal’?

This fourth Great Brief focuses on the apparent contradiction between economic development and the growing issue of climate change and explores how these two policy agendas can be progressed together, rather than in parallel. In particular, it details an overview of the challenge of climate change; debates surrounding the relationship between economic development and the climate change agenda; and finally, will outline what local authorities can do to respond to this agenda.
