Renaissance Friends

Renaissance Friends is an exciting new initiative launched as part of the Yorkshire Forward renaissance programme. Renaissance Friends is a fan club for place, and we want everyone involved in the renaissance programme to be a part of this fan club.

Renaissance Friends is about supporting places, and importantly, about supporting each other. It will work on a number of different levels; the networks, contacts and friendships made within this club will provide new directions for ‘places’ across the region.

Our website will become an interactive portal where you can become actively involved in the making of place by sharing best practice, debating, influencing policy and creating change through a web forum. Consultants have been commissioned recently to design and set up the forum.
