Richard Motley
Programme Director

Richard joined Integreat Yorkshire as Programme Director to drive forward the Regional Centre of Excellence. He has a strong urban regeneration background specializing in development in housing, place making for the creative economy and the third sector. He has worked with a range of key agencies, stakeholders and organisations in Sheffield and South Yorkshire including Housing Associations, Sheffield Hallam University, and as head of development and Director of Cultural Industries Quarter Agency, helped shape South Yorkshire’s principal creative cluster.

Gwen Collingridge
Business & Network Development Manager

Gwen joined Integreat Yorkshire in September 2007 and has over 10 year’s experience in business development, marketing and communications. Her role is to bring together all people participating in the regeneration and renaissance process, to learn, disseminate information, highlight best practice and develop closer relationships within the sector.

Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horse and spending time in her hometown, Hebden Bridge.

Kate Fewson
Regional Design Review Service Manager

Kate is part of the RIBA team based within Integreat Yorkshire to manage and deliver the region’s Design Review Service and Hub which launched in January 2010. Her role is to work with developers, local authorities and partner organisations; encouraging them to present their emerging schemes to a panel of specialists (Regional Design Review Panel) at an early stage in the design process to see if there are ways to improve the design quality of their scheme. The Hub provides support, training and project monitoring for the Yorkshire and Humber region. The Service is affiliated to CABE, funded by Yorkshire Forward and supported by HCA as well as working in collaboration with existing sub-regional and local panels.

Kate is an architect with a keen interest in the field of post-occupancy evaluation and building performance as a result of studying for her MSc. She is from the East Riding and spends the vast majority of her free time playing hockey.

The lessons learnt here can then be shared to inform future projects, provide case study material and help demonstrate the benefits of improved design quality in human terms.”
